This week's challenge...
This week, your task is to re-create some of the world's most famous artworks!
Find a famous artwork, get your creative juices flowing, and re-make it in your own style!
You can...
Draw it....
Paint it....
Pose for it!
Or model it!
It's totally up to you!
Here are some examples to get you thinking....

Here's a printable if you want to draw your re-creation. It has space to include an artist statement!

A great way to find some artworks is by using Google Arts and Culture.
It lets you find artworks, with information about the artist and the work.

Here are some well know works that you might want to re-create - but feel free to find your own!
Take if further...
Make your own gallery!
Re-create all the artworks that you like, and curate your own gallery exhibition!
Get your versions of artworks, and hang them up around your room. You can put captions underneath with all the details. If you do this with your family, each of you can curate your own exhibition, and turn your house into an art gallery!

Share it!
Share your re-creations, and galleries with others.
You can share them to social media with #coronaquarantinechallenge or #cqcexplorethegallery
or you can send them in, and they will be shared on the website next week! (Use the Google Drive folder linked below)
Make sure you have parent permission to share, and we will not share images on this page that have peoples full faces to protect privacy.

Other Activities...
Remember to get some exercise!
Go for a walk with someone from your house. As you walk, both of you make a list of things you see. Then, go for the same walk another day, and use each others lists as a scavenger hunt. |
Writing Prompts:
Start your story with this line... "I'm can't remember exactly what happened, but I've woke up on the floor with a toy rabbit in my hands..." |
Have a happy Easter everyone!
Stay happy, and healthy and inside
Remember to wash your hands!
