How It's going to work
Every Sunday night, a new page will be published on this site with the weekly challenges and activities. Complete the weekly challenges and you will complete the CQC badge!
There will be multiple "challenge levels", and you only need to finish the challenge relevant to your age group, but feel free to try something harder too! There will also be other activities which you can do for fun, or challenge yourself. Keep track of your challenges, share them with your unit, patrols or leaders. If you are able to, you can discuss and share your challenges when your unit meets online. And share your challenges! Take a photo or video of what you're up to and share it with the hashtag: #Coronaquarantinechallenge If you are too young to have social media, your parents or leaders can share it on your behalf! So see you Sunday! The badge |
Most importantly... Look after yourself!
With everything happening in our world with the Coronavirus, it can be very stressful, and cause a lot of anxiety for everyone. It's important to stay positive: experts are working hard to contain the virus, and the call to practice social distancing, and having Guide meetings called off are a preventative measure - to make sure things don't get bad! Remember that these things are temporary, and we are just trying to protect our community. You are safe, because we are acting quickly with (what feels like) hard measures.
Make sure you keep having fun, getting exercise, sleep, and maintain routines (however best you can).
If you are worried, that's okay too! Make sure you talk to someone about it; your family, friends, and your Guide family are here to support you. If you're anxious or scared, reach out to someone you trust. You are not alone!
