Week 1 Challenge Part 2
For this activity, don't change your scavenger hunt list. That would be cheating!
Juniors (6-10)
Have a look at your list. How many of those items do you use in your every day life? How many have you never used before? If you could only keep 5, which 5 would they be? Why?
Guides (10-14)
If you were stranded on an island, which 10 items from your list would you want to have? Why?
Seniors (14+)
Imagine that you're stranded on an island in the middle of the ocean. All you have with you is 300 rolls of toilet paper, 50 packets of spaghetti, and two of the items on your list. What items would they be? Why? What are you going to do to survive on the island?
Other Activities (Just For Fun):
Writing Prompts:
Try writing a story from the perspective of one of your items - what is it's life like? Imagine that all you have is those items you chose - write a story about how you survive. |
When you were hunting, were there any things you found that you forgot you had? Have a rummage in the cupboards. Is there a toy, game, book or something else that you haven't used in a long time? Pull it out and use it!
